Shares of the wind turbine maker will be removed from SDAX and TecDAX, index provider Deutsche Börse announced Wednesday evening. In return, the specialty pharmaceutical company Medios returned to the index of minor stocks, from which it was only abandoned in September last year. In the index of technology stocks, Nordex is replaced by SMA Solar.
The removal was the result of the violation of the basic criteria, the note reads. This involves the timely publication of quarterly reports or quarterly reports. The changes will take effect next Monday.
Nordex shares fell to a daily low of EUR 9.09 via XERA. At close of trading, however, they managed to gain 0.19 percent to € 9.42. Meanwhile, SMA Solar’s stock rose 0.34% to EUR 40.96. The Medios share also benefited initially, but eventually fell 1.86% to EUR 26.35.
