Cheeky jokes? Here’s how Subway responded to Tanja Szewczenko’s complaint

In fact, the mom of the family and influencer had her “Blue Maker Monday” earlier in the week, as she said herself. But then the 44-year-old surprisingly broke her social media hiatus for an angry Instagram story.
Tanja had just returned from shopping in a Cologne mall and wanted to treat herself to a delicious meal at home. However, the subway wrap she brought with them turned out to be a huge disappointment!
“My wrapper – a lot of dough, little content,” Tanja complained in her story and unpacked the submarine to demonstrate in front of the camera.

According to the product description on the Metro website, the brownish mass is “tender, juicy strips of steak” that are said to be au gratin with cheese and optionally refined with other ingredients such as onions or peppers.
The US fast food chain is known for its concept, according to which the customer can decide for himself how he wants to put his wrapper together. Much to her disappointment, Tanja’s expectations had apparently not been met.

“Can’t you expect more for five euros?” The former figure skater was outraged and shared the image Subway publicly advertises “Philly Beef & Cheese” with – a world of difference.
“I looked for salads and the like in vain,” explained Tanja. “They absolutely didn’t want to give me more, not even when I asked them. (…) I think five euros is a lot of money and this content is relatively low. So definitely a big disadvantage on my part. They didn’t. I don’t want to. take it back or put more, change something about customer dissatisfaction (…) I have a tie like that! “
Many of his approximately 280,000 followers could understand Tanja’s anger. “This is absolute bullshit … There’s no hunger when you see something so loveless” and “I’d punch him in the face! Cheeky, that kind of thing,” users got mad.

“I’m curious if you will get a reaction from Subway,” said one user. In fact, the company has now contacted Tanja and responded to the criticisms.

“By the way, Subway got in touch …”, Tanja reported in a story a day after her complaint and shared a screenshot of a direct message.
In it, subway officials admitted: “Of course you are absolutely right and the enclosure is really unoccupied.”
Apparently, the consequences should now be drawn from the “accident”. “We will certainly contact the owner and ask him to re-train the employees according to the receipt formulas so that such a thing does not happen again”.
The company also wrote: “We can only apologize in all forms and hope that at some point you will give us another chance to prove that there is another way.”
What does Tanja think of the statement she left open. She previously announced that she had bought something from Subway “for the first and last time”.
