Bayern has contacted Sebastien Haller!

FC Bayern have been associated with numerous strikers in recent weeks. With Sebastien Haller, a new name now appears in the list of Lewandowski’s potential successors. According to current media reports, the Monaco team has already contacted the team of players.

The name Haller should definitely mean something to most Bundesliga fans. Between 2017 and 2019, the striker was under contract with Eintracht Frankfurt and scored 24 goals and prepared another 13 in 60 games for Hesse. After a short spell at West Ham United, the 27-year-old moved to Ajax Amsterdam last summer and not only became one of the Dutch Eredivisie’s top scorers (20 goals in 27 games), but also great in the Champions League. With eleven goals in eight games in the premier class, Haller also attracted attention from FC Bayern.

Haller is an attractive option for FCB

As reported by “BILD”, those responsible are working very intensively on the edge of the 1.90 meter storm. According to this, Bayern have already contacted the players’ team to probe a possible transfer in the summer.

Haller has been in excellent shape for months and has proven to score regularly internationally. Furthermore, he knows the Bundesliga very well and therefore does not need a proper adjustment period. According to information from “BILD”, the Ivorian would cost 40 million euros, which would be quite affordable for the FCB if Lewandowski was sold in the summer. In terms of salary, Haller would also be much cheaper than the Pole.

Schick, Nunez and Lukaku are also on Bayern’s shortlist

In addition to Haller, there are three other names in Bayern’s shortlist: Darwin Nunez, Romelu Lukaku and Patrik Schick. In Nunez, the Munich team knocked on the door last fall. The Uruguayan would be much more expensive than Haller at 80 million euros. Lukaku and Schick are also priced at 80 million euros. It is also unclear whether the two forwards will end up on the market again next summer.

One thing is clear: Bayern are preparing for a possible farewell of Lewandowski. So far, however, there have been no really concrete negotiations with other players. Reason: So far no decision has been made as to how the Polish national team player will continue on Isar in the summer. Concrete contractual negotiations with the FIFA world player are still pending. Later on, however, transfer poker could really pick up speed.
